Amare Stoudemire's moment of truth arrives, as he
must step up against All-NBA standout Tim Duncan. That matchup in the post will dictate this series, and indicate whether
the third-year pro is indeed ready to emerge as an elite superstar. Steve Nash, already at that level, will be a headache
for the Spurs' Tony Parker, who will have no room for inconsistent play. San Antonio will try to slow down Phoenix with its
halfcourt excellence, but also has the horses to run in an up-tempo pace when necessary. It will be interesting to see how
proficient it can be in that style.
